Integration: Smart Home Controller Devices Compatible with Flo by Moen
Flo by Moen has integrations with third-party smart home controller devices including Ring, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Control4. In this article, learn how to set up and control your Smart Water Shutoff from your connected smart home system of choice. We are excited to join your home's smart ecosystem.
Ring
Ring users with a Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff can add their Shutoff to their Ring app. Once added, this integration allows you to seamlessly jump from the Ring home screen to the Flo by Moen app.
Amazon Alexa
Flo by Moen users can access information related to their water usage and pending alerts through their Amazon Alexa.
Please Note: At this time, Amazon Alexa can be integrated with only one location and one Smart Water Shutoff.

But first: Set up your Smart Water Shutoff
Before Amazon Alexa can access information about your home’s water, a Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff must be installed on the home’s main supply line and paired to your smartphone via the free Flo by Moen app (iOs, Android). Once the shutoff is completely set up and connected to your home’s WiFi, you can begin to integrate Flo by Moen with Amazon Alexa.
How to Use:
- Install the Amazon Alexa mobile app (iOS , Android).
- Say “Alexa, ask Flo”, to start the conversation.
- Follow Alexa's prompt to link your Flo by Moen account.
- Try out the available commands (below).

- How much water have I used today? This week? This Month? This year?
- Do I have any pending alerts?
Google Assistant
Flo by Moen users can access information related to their water usage and pending alerts through their Google Assistant.

Control4
Since April 2019, Flo by Moen users with any Control4 interface can continue to build their connected ecosystem by integrating their Smart Water Shutoff.
The Flo by Moen driver needed for Control4 functionality gives customers easy access to manage and monitor their water system in real-time, including shutoff from anywhere.
